Movement is a personal journey. For some of us, it’s the feeling of getting stronger with each lift. For others, it’s the quiet focus of a yoga flow or the rush of a good run. There is no right or wrong way to move your body—there’s only your way. At KIC, we believe in celebrating every step of that journey.
We’re here to help you redefine your relationship with exercise. It isn’t about punishment or perfection. It’s about finding a fitness program that feels good for you and meets you where you are, today and every day. Forget the pressure and the expectations; KIC movement is about tuning into your body and discovering what makes you feel alive.
This is your complete guide to movement with KIC. We’ll walk you through our different workout styles, introduce you to the expert trainers who guide you, and show you how to find a fitness program that moves with you.
Movement at KIC
Movement at KIC is built on a simple idea: it should feel good. We’re not about quick fixes or extreme challenges. We’re about building a positive, sustainable, and kind relationship with fitness. We believe that when you find joy in how you move, you create habits that last a lifetime.
That’s why we offer over 1,000 workouts across so many different modalities. Whether you have five minutes for a quick HIIT session or an hour for a deep yoga practice, there is always something for you. Our goal is to provide the tools and support you need to feel empowered in your body. It’s about progress, not perfection, and celebrating what your body can do.
As one of our KIC members, Anna, puts it: "KIC has completely changed my mindset around fitness. I used to dread workouts, but now I look forward to them. I finally feel strong and confident."
Types of movement we offer
Your energy and needs change from day to day, and your workout routine should be able to change with you. We offer a diverse range of exercise styles so you can always find something that suits your mood, energy levels, and goals.
Strength
Our strength workout programs are designed to help you build confidence and power, both in and out of the gym. Led by expert trainers like Laura Henshaw and Danny Kennedy, these sessions focus on safe, effective form to help you get stronger. With years of experience, our trainers guide you through every squat, press, and lift.
Whether you're looking for gym workouts or prefer to train at home, our programs are adaptable. We have hundreds of strength sessions, from beginner circuits to advanced lifting.
A KIC member recently shared, "I never thought I'd be a person who lifts weights, but the KIC strength program made it so accessible. I've never felt stronger."
KICRun
If you've ever wanted to start running or improve your current pace, our KICRun running program is for you. Guided by our incredible run coach, Lydia O'Donnell, this audio-guided program is like having a trainer and a cheer squad right in your ear.
KICRun offers structured programs from your first 5km all the way to a full marathon. Each session is designed to build your fitness and confidence gradually. You can learn more about our KICRun program and how to get started on the treadmill or the trail.
Pilates
For a low-impact workout that builds core strength and improves posture, look no further than our Pilates workouts. Our wonderful trainer Christina trays guides you through classes that tone and lengthen your muscles, helping you connect with your body on a deeper level.
With hundreds of Pilates classes available, you can choose from sessions focused on glutes, abs, or a full-body burn. It’s a fantastic way to build foundational strength.
"After just a few weeks of KIC Pilates, I noticed a huge difference in my core strength and how I carry myself," says a member, Chloe.
HIIT
When you’re short on time but want a big energy boost, our High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts are perfect. These sessions, led by high-energy trainers like Brooke Jowett, are designed to get your heart rate up and make you sweat.
A HIIT workout alternates between short bursts of intense effort and brief recovery periods. It's an efficient and effective way to improve your cardiovascular fitness. With options ranging from 5 to 30 minutes, you can always fit one in.
Yoga
Find your flow and calm your mind with our yoga classes. Guided by experienced instructors like Sjana Earp, our sessions focus on the connection between breath and movement. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, you can find a class that helps you stretch, strengthen, and de-stress.
Yoga at KIC is about creating space for yourself, both physically and mentally. It’s a chance to slow down and tune in.
Hybrid workout programs
Can’t decide between strength, cardio, or Pilates? You don’t have to. A hybrid workout program allows you to mix different training styles to keep your routine exciting and balanced. At KIC, you can easily build a weekly schedule that includes a strength day, a KICRun session, and a Pilates class. This approach helps improve your overall fitness while preventing workout boredom.
