Have you ever told yourself, "I'm not a runner"? So many of us have. We see people jogging effortlessly and assume it's a special club we can't join. But what if we told you that if you run, you are a runner? It’s that simple. At KIC, we’re here to help you let go of those limiting beliefs and find the joy in putting one foot in front of the other.
The KICRun program was created to make running accessible for every single body. It’s not about pace or distance; it’s about the feeling of moving your body, clearing your head, and being part of an incredible running community that cheers you on every step of the way.
With hundreds of thousands of runs powered by KIC, our community is a testament to what’s possible when we have the right support. This is your guide to our KIC running program, our philosophy, and how you can become part of our much-loved KIC Run Club.
Our running philosophy at KIC
Running with KIC is different. We strip away the pressure and expectation. There are no leaderboards and no competition. Our philosophy is built on kindness, self-compassion, and celebrating the act of showing up for yourself. We believe that movement should make you feel good, and our running training program is designed with that at its core.
We start slow, focus on building confidence, and remind you that every run—whether it’s a walk/jog interval or a new personal best—is a win. You’ll be guided by our head run coach and KIC co-founder, Laura Henshaw, whose feel-good vibes and encouraging words in your ear will make you feel like you have a best friend by your side.
As KIC member Meg shared, "I can now see why everyone truly loves running and I’m so grateful for KIC for helping me find joy in something that I never thought I’d get into."
